These are what we feel are the brightest version of these rectangular leds on the market. They measure in at 2x5x7mm which makes them perfect for use in Hero hilt control boxes and many other applications owing to the slim profile. The tips can be sanded to make them a little shorter if desired just don't go too far!
The clear versions offer between 600-1200mcd brightness depending upon the colour choice. The diffused versions are a little dimmer.
Short leg is negative. Don't forget! Choose your resistor to go with the led based upon the data below:
Red-clear forward voltage 2V, forward current 20mA, 600mcd
Green-clear forward voltage 3V, forward current 20mA, 1000mcd
Blue-clear forward voltage 3V, forward current 20mA, 800mcd
White-clear forward voltage 3V, forward current 20mA, 1200mcd
Red-diffused forward voltage 2V, forward current 20mA, 400mcd
Green-diffused forward voltage 2V, forward current 20mA, 200mcd
Blue-diffused forward voltage 3V, forward current 20mA, 400mcd
